JUST THE F.A.Q.s PLEASE
There are a few things that you should know about the artwork
and the quality of the design you will receive once completed.

TOP 10 QUESTIONS ASKED:

1. Why don't you provide original artwork including native files? So why do we need to keep the originals. Most if not all design agencies will keep original artwork and provide copies of the digital files if any, to clients for printing, sign making and other needing professionals for reproducing. In the past as well as in the future, we will provide these original files for a fee. The fees are different as per each project depending on the amount of design hours factored into producing desired artwork.

2. But wait. I paid you to design my art. Isn't that artwork mine now? Logos, flyers, folders, and other are yours, as well as they should be. We don't hold your art hostage. We provide art in a copied format for you to use at your disposal.

3. Is the website Adplanet designs mine or does that design belong to them? The website for all purposes is yours/the clients. Again, we will provide you a CD with your website copied per request. HTML and image files will be the only items provided, and not original artwork. **Note. Any artwork not provided for websites by client are not available for copying, selling, distributing, or any other product not related to the client website. Images used are royalty free images, but with limited use. Please contact us for any questions about any artwork provided from our proprietary database.

4. What is the turnaround time for a website? See our Web Packages page. We try to maintain a reasonable window of turnkey productions. Some websites that require more information than others will of course take up more programming/drawing/hand coding, number of pages, Flash animation, etc... Normally we like to give you an estimated time of deadline and launch date to keep your site in production and on track.

5. Are you hiring? We get this question at least once a week. Although we would like to hire more creative professionals, or even provide an intern worksite, we just aren't in position to get that setup at this time. Frequently we outsource to freelancers to take on certain projects, send us your resume or link where we can view your current works, and we will let you know. Student work is acceptable. Of course you have to start somewhere and we understand. We'll at least get to view your present style. We will post positions on our careers page once available, keep checking back.

6. Does Adplanet host websites or who is your web host provider? We think of ourselves as a conduit for a great host that we use. HOST MONSTER. We wish that we could provide hosting, but that means that we would need a resident professional capable of maintaining the network and bandwidth issues and other phone support that normally follows being a host that we don't care to invest in. We just like designing stuff.

7. If we supply artwork to you, are there any discounts for this? Normally no. Case by case would be the best answer for this, since most of the artwork we are given, is not camera ready. Occasionally we do receive art that just needs tweaking, and for that we only charge by the hour.

8. Do you offer maintenance packages for your websites? Yes. We have annual contracts available in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 hour a month increments. Or as needed at $65 per web page edited at $70 per hour.

9. Once my logo is finished, what is my next step? After completion, depending which logo package you select we will either send it to you in a minimum of ten different formats via email or on CD, along with a transfer of rights for your records.

10. If you purchase our web domain name, is it yours or ours? Adplanet Creative will work hard to ensure your domain name gets to your hands in one piece. We may secure it initially, but once your site is up and running, we will then transfer all the information to be your account.
